More Praise for Fleur de Mahj

When our group of friends signed up for lessons with Fleur de Mahj, we were eager and excited to learn—but we also brought some big personalities to the table. Fleur de Mahj (Sheila, Marcy & Carrie) embraced us with warmth, patience, and professionalism, creating an atmosphere that felt welcoming from the start.

Their teaching style is incredibly well paced and clear, and yet never rigid.  This group of teachers made the game accessible without watering it down, and their love for Mahjong exuded through in every lesson. What stood out most to me was how Fleur de Mahj treated us not just as students, but as individuals—fostering a sense of camaraderie, connection, and fun that made each session feel like time spent with life long friends (the majority of our group is, in fact, life long friends).   

Thanks to Fleur de Mahj, I now feel confident in my Mahjong skills and genuinely excited to play. Sheila was with us from start to finish with our lessons and she  didn’t just teach the game—she built a beautiful bridge between instruction and community. I wholeheartedly recommend Fleur de Mahj to anyone ready to learn, laugh, and fall in love with Mahjong.
